Assisted living communities provide a variety of services to a wide spectrum of tenants.  That said, any commercial contractor brought in must be aware of and respectful of this environment.  In 2018, the Executive Director of Churchill Senior Living contacted our Scher Flooring Services  about his need for an ongoing, bi-annual commercial carpet cleaning services and VCT Strip and Wax floor maintenance program.

After completing our site visit, SFS created a proposal to include both carpet cleaning and VCT Strip and Wax services throughout the multi-building complex.  As with many of our commercial clients, Churchill felt that outsourcing their floor cleaning services made the most financial sense.

Today, Scher Flooring Services still performs carpet cleaning using Whittaker’s Smart Care System.  This low-moisture cleaning technology utilizes Low-residue chemistry to help eliminate common issues like sticky carpets, odors, and re-occurring carpet stains.  Because of its low moisture application, the risk of slip & fall is dramatically reduced.  SFS also performs strip & wax services on the center’s VCT areas which include their laundry rooms, lounges and kitchen areas.  SFS performs these services two times a year.
